I am all about supporting small businesses. I also think it is a good idea to buy hand-made, nonplastic toys. That is why I am sharing this great site which is now offering a great giveaway. http://cottonridgehomeschool.com/2012/11/05/etsy-felt-fishing-game-review-giveaway-uscan-1127/

One thing to recognize this month is breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer runs big in my family. There have been several women in my family who have had at least one of their breasts removed do to cancer. This really scares me. I am terrified to get the cancer so I try to eliminate my risks as much as I can. One thing I do is to use Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) instead of deodorant. That's right. Just apply ACV to a cotton ball and apply. Deodorant has aluminum as the active ingredient. Many people believe that aluminum is one of the causes to increase your risk of breast cancer. So go ahead, give ACV a try and comment on this post and let me know what you think. Also please share the things you do in life to help reduce your risk of cancer.

Did you know...

You can use borax and baking soda in your dishwasher?? Add some white vinegar as the rinse aid and you're good to go. Not only is this a safe way to clean your dishes, but it's real cheap too!!

Welcome

I've been wanting to blog for a while now and just never had the courage to get started, so here I go. I am a mother of 2 and I try to live as natural as I can. I have 2 kids, a husband, garden and chickens!! We try to make as much of our own food as possible. We cloth diaper our baby and live as green as we can. As I start my journey please bear with me, as I said already, I'm totally new to this. I look forward to sharing my ways with you and learning from you in hopes to make our world a better place.
